AND NOW OUR REVIEW:
This was a lovely romance that I thoroughly enjoyed.
I worried that the age difference between the protagonists, Ellie and Gage, was too great a difference to make for a plausible story. However, I was wrong. The author did an excellent job in showing Ellie as a mature and appealing young woman capable of attracting a mature widower, not without a little help from his children. Gage’s gradual affection for Ellie follows a believable path and makes for an engaging and captivating story.
Add to this danger, intrigue and loyal friends and you have a tale that keeps the pages turning.
